Our passion for craft coffee, spooky vibes, and community connection makes Mr. Tombstone's Coffee Emporium a place where the night comes alive & the coffee never stops haunting your senses.
Owners Nicholas Nesbitt and Douglas Powers wanted to create a space for community. So far we've hosted over 100 events, some being open mics, pottery classes, apothecary workshops, yoga, a Summerween Fest, Spooktober, punk shows, and even pictures with Krampus! Over time, we've built partnerships with local artists and hosted a vast amount of vendors to take up space in our shop.

Our Philosophy:
Military Owned
Owners Doug and Nick are active in the Reserves and have counted on the community they found in coffee shops around the globe to keep them grounded. Service men and woman are honored here.
Vinyl Cafe
We sell Vinyl Records for your listening pleasure- sourcing from our favorite local businesses. We have a badass playlist where you can listen to our favorite genres ranging from heavy metal, rock, R&B, and 80's vibes.
The Garden of Wellness
This series highlights promoting more wellness and apothecary events; for the wizard and witch in all of us. This also includes our very own In House Divination Witch who reads tarot for guests on the weekend.
Skeleton Emporium Market
The last weekend of each month we showcase local artists and vendors to sell handcrafted goods!

Originally from Alaska, my passion for specialty coffee began at a young age, and for nearly two decades I've held a firm belief that great coffee should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
My background includes helping open local coffee shops, food and beverage menu development, coffee roasting, event coordination, and the creation and implementation of comprehensive coffee training programs. I'm deeply committed to building sustainable partnerships with local artists and strengthening the connection between coffee and community.
A strong advocate for continuing education, OVA has pursued Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) certifications in Coffee Brewing and Barista Skills and is currently an official ServSafe Trainer and Proctor. Her vision is to help build a successful, community-driven coffee business that operates much like a culinary kitchen—where everyone is family and collaboration is encouraged to create a positive and lasting impact.

Both U.S. Army Soldiers in support of the U.S. Mission to European Deterrence and Defense. During our deployment to Poland, we spent much of our off-duty time at a local café, where we immersed ourselves in the surrounding community and experienced firsthand the power of a welcoming “third place”—a space beyond home and work that fosters connection, conversation, and belonging.
That experience deeply influenced our vision for Mr. Tombstone's Coffee Emporium, and inspired us to create a community-centered coffee shop that reflects our shared passion for service, camaraderie, and exceptional coffee.
